Life With an Olde English Bulldog From Preservation Bloodlines

Olde English Bulldog Temperament in a Real Family Home

You might remember Gus from our Fancy x Zeus litter last year.

Gus is not a puppy update anymore.

Gus is theirs.

Energy Outside. Steady Inside.

Gus still runs hard and in bursts; like so many of our other Olde English Bulldogs.

This incredible Olde English Bulldog charges through the woods like he owns it. If there’s water, he’s getting in. January doesn’t matter.

After a long shift as a nurse in a very busy hospital, his mom comes home, sits down, and Gus is there. He is not demanding and not chaotic. Gus, the Olde English Bulldog is Just close.

At All Southern Dogs that’s what people really want.

The Bond is the Point

He follows her room to room. If she moves, he moves.

When the family gathers, he’s right in the middle of it. Gus is confident, social, and completely comfortable in his environment.

He’s playful when it’s time to go. Calm when it’s time to live inside a real home.

Gus is Fully Bulldog. Gus is Fully Himself.

Favorite toy is any ball.

He eats dirt. Rocks. Sticks. Digs like it’s a career path.

He’s scared of grocery bags and backpacks.

He snores. He toots. He sleeps with his tongue hanging out.

Gus melts hearts without trying.

This Quality of Life is What We Breed For

We don’t breed for eight weeks. We breed for the years after.

For the couch at night. For the routine. For the nurse coming home after a long day. For the dog that fits naturally into family life.
