Remember Bowser? Here’s How He’s Turning Out

You might remember Bowser from one of our recent go home posts.
Some dogs take time to settle in.Bowser showed up like he already lived there.
His family knew they wanted another bulldog and talked to a few breeders first. Then they found All Southern Dogs. One call the same day, one real conversation, and they were in. A short drive later and Bowser was heading home.
“Getting Bowser was a super smooth process. You called the same day we reached out, we had a great conversation, and we were sold.”
Confidence From Day One

Bowser is still small, but nobody told him that.
Their other dog is much bigger, and Bowser charges straight at him ready to wrestle like he runs the house. They play rough and he absolutely loves every second of it.
He carries himself wide and solid. Only about eleven pounds, but he stands like a giant.
“Our other dog is much bigger but Bowser goes at him like he runs the place.”
Gentle Where It Matters
With their three year old, he flips the switch completely.
She climbs on him, hugs him, carries him around, and he just accepts it. Calm. Patient. Easygoing. You can pick him up, flip him over, move him however you want and he rolls with it.

Most of the time he just wants to be close, tucked into a neck or elbow.
“She’s always all over him and he just rolls with it.”

Easy To Live With
Bowser is laid back by default, but when motivated he works. He will train just as hard as he naps.
And yes, he snores like a grizzly bear.
“Confident, loving, playful, and an amazing temperament.”
The Goal Every Time
This is what preservation breeding is meant to produce. A dog that can wrestle hard, relax easy, and live naturally inside a real family.
